The Ministry of Education carries out various projects on a regular basis in order to develop and modernize human resources in the field of education in accordance with the "National Strategy for the Development of Education in the Republic of Azerbaijan", approved by Order No. 13 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated October 24, 2013. So, within the framework of the project "Education Managers' Professional Development", implemented by the Institute of Professional Development of Education Workers, the competition is announced in order to involve persons, working in the field of education or wishing to work in this field in the future, in the internship program and trainings for a year at the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan Republic and the institutions subordinated to the Ministry in Baku. The main objective of the project is to train and develop education workers, who have acquired modern management skills, who are familiar with information technologies, who can contribute to education and social development of the country. Persons who wish to work in the field of education in different regions of the country in the future can participate in the internship program and trainings. Persons, who gained the right to participate in the internship program and trainings, will get the opportunity to undertake an internship at the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan Republic and the institutions subordinated to the Ministry in Baku and to participate in training sessions during the year. Competition for the implementation of measures to improve the higher educational system Within the framework of measures taken to improve the quality of education in the higher educational system, the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan Republic is carrying out the Twinning project in cooperation with the European Union to support the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan Republic in order to adapt the higher education system to the requirements of the European Higher Education Area. Under the project, the competition is announced in order to form an expert group for the renewal of the higher educational system, the quality improvement, the determination of standards that meet modern and international requirements, at the same time, the implementation of reforms in this direction. The only people, who are currently working at higher educational institutions, can appeal in order to participate in the competition. We would like to inform you that the members of the expert group, that will be formed as a result of competition and will operate according to social principles, will not only participate in national events, discussions to be organized on the higher education system, but also will have the opportunity to be represented in international conferences, seminars and other events of this type. Republican contest “Scientists of Tomorrow” will be held in Baku on 23-24 February 2012

It should be noted that, the contest is held within International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF) conducted in the USA. The students in grades 9-11 of secondary schools of Baku and Sumgayit may participate in the contest.
