The competition for those working in the field of education or wishing to work in this field in the future within the framework of the project "Education Managers' Professional Development"

The Ministry of Education carries out various projects on a regular basis in order to develop and modernize human resources in the field of education in accordance with the "National Strategy for the Development of Education in the Republic of Azerbaijan", approved by Order No. 13 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated October 24, 2013. So, within the framework of the project "Education Managers' Professional Development", implemented by the Institute of Professional Development of Education Workers, the competition is announced in order to involve persons, working in the field of education or wishing to work in this field in the future, in the internship program and trainings for a year at the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan Republic and the institutions subordinated to the Ministry in Baku.

The main objective of the project is to train and develop education workers, who have acquired modern management skills, who are familiar with information technologies, who can contribute to education and social development of the country.

Persons who wish to work in the field of education in different regions of the country in the future can participate in the internship program and trainings.

Persons, who gained the right to participate in the internship program and trainings, will get the opportunity to undertake an internship at the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan Republic and the institutions subordinated to the Ministry in Baku and to participate in training sessions during the year. They will also receive fixed monthly salary.

Requirements for participation in the competition:

- Higher education

- At least (3) three years of work experience in the field of education and management (Preference will be given to candidates from regions.)

Other qualities that are expected from the candidates:

- English language proficiency

- Leadership skills

- High motivation

- Effective decision-making ability

- Outcome orientation

- Ability to use ICT

- Logical thinking ability

- Knowledge of the Education Legislation

Selection rules:

The first stage: Conduction of electronic registration on the portal www.miq.edu.az/tm;

The second stage: Assessment of formal writing skills in Azerbaijani language and logical thinking skills of persons who meet the requirements of the competition and who pass electronic registration;

The third stage: The persons, who have achieved success at both stages, participate on the interview.
