    Azərbaycan SSR Xalq Komissarları Sovetinin 28 aprel 1920-ci il tarixli qərarı ilə Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyinin adı dəyişdirilərək Xalq Maarifi Komissarlığı adı ilə yenidən təşkil edilib və ölkədəki bütün təhsil müəssisələri bu qurumun tabeliyinə verilib.

Submission of documents for doctoral education abroad for the spring semester of 2021 is launched

In the framework of the "2019-2023 State Program to improve the international competitiveness of the higher education system in Azerbaijan", the “2019-2023 State Program” Management Group under the Ministry of Education invites the citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan wishing to study for a doctorate level at prestigious foreign universities to participate in the submission of documents for the Spring 2021 semester. The program is designed for candidates preparing for admission to doctoral programs in priority trends of specialties and specialties for doctoral level education abroad and currently studying at the doctoral level in relevant fields. Funding for the education of program participants is managed by the State Program Management Group. Other information and conditions on the submission of the documents is available in the announcement. For additional questions, interested candidates can appeal to dpinfo@edu.gov.az by e-mail. The deadline for applications is December 15, 2020.

Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).   Where does it come from? Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Essay competition on Baku’s Bid for World EXPO 2025

The essay competition is organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the "Expo 2025 Baku" Operations Secretariat on Azerbaijan’s bid to host the World Expo 2025 in Baku.   The competition aim is to raise awareness among young people about the project "Expo 2025 Baku", promoting youth participation in issues of significant importance to the country, and directing creative potential to the development trends of modern society and philosophy of the World Expo.   Topics: The competition centres on the main theme that Azerbaijan proposes for the World EXPO 2025 – namely, "Developing Human Capital, building a Better Future". Participants should focus on one of the following three sub-themes:   The Future of Education The Future of Health The Future of Labour   Requirements: Age category: anyone between 16 - 29 years old. Each author can participate in the competition with only one essay. Essays must be original and not published before. The submitted essays should not exceed 1000 words. Essays may be written in Azerbaijani, Russian or English languages.   Prize: There will be one (1) winner and a 2nd and 3rd place winner of the competition. The 1st prize winner will be invited to headquarters of the International Exhibitions Bureau in Paris, France. 2nd and 3rd prize winners will be awarded with special diplomas and valuable prizes.   Please note, that the submitted essays are checked by special software.
