During meeting “Agreement on credit given by Economical Development Cooperation Fund for project on establishment of Vocational Training Center between Azerbaijan Republic and Korean Republic” and “Loan Agreement for project on establishment of Vocational Training Center between Azerbaijan Republic and Korean Export-Import Bank”. Project is aimed to support preparation of highly qualified personnel in accordance with the requirements of labor market and development of non-oil sector. Core targets of project is to ensure preparation of highly qualified personnel for all citizens and creation of job opportunities, support policy on reduction of poverty, reduction of dependence of labor market from foreign workforce as well as support development of small and medium ownership, creation of vocational education system that meets highest modern standarts including youth and women. Maximum budget of project is 39.28 million USD Dollar. 22 million dollar will be financed by Korean Economical Development and Cooperation Fund. Personel on the sphere of electrical engineering, mechanics, automation, industry installation, electricity, electronics, auto and construction will be trained within framework of project that will support creation of modern vocational education system. Teaching room, canteen, hostel, lecture and general meeting room will be constructed under 8 specialty in the center. 800 persons can obtain appropriate specialties to be established on basis of one of vocational-specialty education establishments located in Baku. Korean specialists will take part in construction, supply, management of Vocational Training Center as well as preparation of engineer-pedhagogical staff and relevant means.

We would like to stress that, The Minstry of Education of Azerbaijan Republic doesn’t cooperate with any company about “State Program on education of Azerbaijan’ youth in foreign countires in 2007-2015” especially on the sphere of study in abroad and bear responsibility due to activities of these companies.  In addition, we state that promise given by any company or person to the applicants doesn’t play important role in selection period under State Program and if you face with such kind of situtions please immediately call “Hot line” service (146) of Ministry. Pupil and the students who are willing to study in abroad as well their parents are recommended to directly aplly to related body through inquiring admission procedures from higher education establishments in abroad.

Essay contest dedicated in the anniversaries of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev of Azerbaijan nation is organized for 8 times. This year’ essay contest is performed under Order No. 229, dated February 26, 2014 of The Minister of Education of Azerbaijan Republic. Organizers of contest are New Azerbaijan Party, Heydar Aliyev Fund, The Ministry of Education, Azebaijan Trade Unions Confederations, The Ministry of Communication and Higher Technologies. Selecting the winners through the participants of republican stages, they will be awarded I, II, III and motivating encouraging places. Winners will be awarded valuable prices. Their essay writings will be printed in book form.  It should be noted that, region (town) stage of contest has been concluded on March. All regions of our country have been represented in essay contest. More than 17 thousand persons took part in region (town) stages of contest. Common number of the participants of republican stage is 121 persons. Twn of them ar from VIII, 29 persons from IX, X as well as 28 persosns from XI. 15 persons represent primary voctional education establishments, but 10 persons represent secondary schools.

      Representatives of State Oil Company, The Minsitry of Education, Schlumberger company, as well as the teachers and parents took part in this event.      It was stated that, biology classroom has been equiped with special labaratory devices and computer equipments.       Then the visitors were acquainted with biology science laboratory and installed facilities of education establishment.        It should be noted that, Sclumberger company funtioning since 1997 in Azerbaijan actively participates in implementation of several important projects under exploitation of oil and gas fields. Company gives a special attention to implementation of the projects aimed to serve in development of young generation. Science laboratories, education means, computer and internet access of the secondary schools of different cuntires have been provided within framework of support program to SEED education implemented by Schlumberger company.

Ceyhun Bayramov, Deputy of The Minster of Education, Shaig Asgarov, Deputy Chairman of Azerbaijan Committee of Independent Trade Union of Education Workers, Vugar Safarli, State Support Fund for Mass Media under President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the leaders of media bodies took part in this event. 46 writings have been presented by the representatives of Mass Media to contest held jointly by The Minsitry of Education, Azerbaijan Committee of Independent Trade Union of Education Workers and State Support Fund for Mass Media under President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Writings have been prerpared on 5 directions that surrond sector of education. Generally, the winners on each direction and owners of encouraging places have been determined with 25 persons.     Winners are awarded with diplom and the prices in the event. It should be noted that, goal of contest is to achieve timely and correctly deliver of core strategic direction on the sphere of creation of modern education system in our country and content and essence of the targets to Azerbaijan public through Mass Media as well as stimulize agitation of enlightenment of public by media bodies.

Citizens addressed on the problems of recruitment of the teachers or transfer of work place from one school to other as well as from one district to other one, restoration to work, recognition of education documents, transfer of university’ students and school’ pupils from one education establishment to other one, education fee, incomplete education in Azerbaijan International University which suspended its activity, complaint from secondary schools, scholarship of the students, study in abroad and other issues within framework of schedule of citizen reception of central executive powers’ leaders on April, 2014 in city and regions.  Appeal of 54 citizens have been listened in reception and most of problems ahve resolved just on the spot. Tasks have been given to relevant bodies of the Ministry on several appeals. Appeals that have personal characteristics or beyond of ministry’ power, have been recorded and controled in order to deliver these appeals in relevant bodies.

Chingiz Huseynzade, Vice-President of National Olympic Committee, Ceyhun Bayramov, Deputy Minister of Education, Gabil Ahmadov, Manager of Coca-Cola company, the members of executive committee of National Olympic Committee, olympic and world champions, as well as the representatives of various sport and non-sport bodies took part in this event. Speaking at the event, Chingiz Huseynzade talked about olympic movement and its development history, importance of agitated program in healthy and active life style. Vice-president stressed importance of such kind of social sport projects in increase of attention of wide population to European Games to be held in Baku for 2014 and 2015. Vice-president expressed his gratitude for support on the sphere of expansion of olympic movement as well as development of physical education and sport and apllauded the initiatives held lately for development of sport in education sphere. Ceyhun Bayramov, Deputy Minister of Education stated that adoption of “State Strategy on development of education in Azerbaijan Republic” has a special importance in development of education’ quality and obtaining of successful results on this sphere, health protection of the learners. From this point, the issues like creation of favourable condition that ensures development of motion capabilities of the learners in pre-school and secondary schools, as well as application of pedhagogical technologies directed in their protection of the physical and psychological health during academic years, become necessary. Ceyhun Bayramov noted that, 16 republic contests on different sport kinds have been organized among pupil and the students in 2014. More than 5 000 pupil and student took part in the same contests. Stressing service for such important functions in “My Active Family, Healthy Enivironment”, Deputy Minister stated pleassure on successful execution of the objectives.  Gabil Ahmadov, Manager of Coca-Cola company talked about activity of company as main worldwide partner of Olympic Games, as well as successful cooperation with National Olympic ommittee of Azerbaijan Republic. Expressing his pleassure on successfull result of activity for 2013 of “My Active Family, Healthy Enivironment” Manager characterized agreement of The Moinistry of Education to be official partner of program as guarantee of success. Tunzala Agayeva honored artist, new national olympic ambassador selected for 2014 of program “My Active Family, Healthy Environment” convened the families to actively take part in execution of program. It should be noted that, Olympic Champion Farid Mansurov has been functioning since 2013 as national olympic ambassador and agreed to continue his public function for 2014. After official speech, Memorondum of Understanding on cooperation within framework of “My Active Family, Healthy Environment” program has been signed among National Olympic Comittee of Azerbaijan Republic, The Ministry of Education and Coca-Cola.

In the exhibition held in Azerbaijan within the scope of Netherlands days, nearly 300 paintings of pupils from Baku schools were demonstrated.          The event was attended by Robert Jan Gabriels, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in our country and representatives of Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan Republic. At the closing ceremony, in which Dutch artists also took part, pupils were presented with certificates and memorial gifts of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The authors of the best three paintings were awarded with special gifts. Master classes by Dutch artists will be conducted for the pupils with special abilities. It must be noted that, 26 selected works of exhibition will be demonstrated in "Eurovillage" cultural event that will be held in Ichari Shahar (Inner City) State Historical-Architectural Reserve.
