First of all, the minister of education has been provided with information on the meeting spent on 4-5 March 2014, between the representatives of “Microsoft Azerbaijan” and the Ministry of Education, about the issues and relevance of programs which implementation is provided. The minister has been informed that at a meeting of the Organization of “Microsoft Azerbaijan” was held the presentation of Innovative School Programs (Microsoft Innovative School) by the organization Microsoft. The event was provided with detailed information on the Microsoft Program of Certification for Teachers, on IT Academy, about the Local Language Program Microsoft, about a platform Microsoft Office 365 and about the Global Forum “Partners in Learning” which carrying out is provided within the framework of this program, including discussions around topics such as basic computer knowledge, curriculum (the curriculum) on technology, curriculum design for education and professional development of teachers. The Minister of Education Mikayil Jabbarov has congratulated Elkhan Huseynov with a new appointment and has wished him successes in the future activity. The minister has noted, that reforms carried out in the country in area of higher education serve objectives of creation in higher educational institutions of the transparent, effective environment of training, to carrying out, in view of modern requirements, works on improvement of quality of education and management of schools. Having mentioned a question on an indispensability of creation in modern conditions of the society possessing high knowledge, Minister of Education has noted, that talented students who are interested in training and the teachers who have mastered currently available methods of training are major factors for maintenance of quality in area of formation. Rector of SSU Elkhan Huseynov, has expressed gratitude to the President of the country for the confidence rendered to him and has noted, that would attach all efforts for implementation of the duties high-level laid on him. Marking the exceptional role of higher education, from the point of view of all-round development of people and intellectual potential of country a rector emphasized that there are wide possibilities are now created for the achievement of creation of the high-quality environment of training in SSU. For the information we shall note, that Elkhan Bahadur ogli Huseynov graduated from the mechanics and Mathematics Faculty of the Azerbaijan State University. In 1985 has protected the master's thesis at Azerbaijani State University. In 1994 he received the title of associate professor. In 1991-1995 worked as the senior lecturer of faculty of philosophy of the Baku state University, in 1995 - vice-rector of Baku State University on the international relations, and in 1999-2002 worked on a position of the first vice-rector and vice-rector on a teaching department. In the 2002-2010 years he held the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Turkmenistan. In 2010-2011 held the position of the vice-rector on international communications of BSU, with August 15, 2013 year - on post of Adviser of the Minister of Education. Since December 18, 2013 years he is appointed to a position of the vice-rector on a teaching department and temporarily performed the duties of the acting rector of the given university.

In the championship organized in Chess Club of Association of the Sports Organizations of Trade Union of Azerbaijan, participated commands of 17 higher educational institutions. At competitions the command of the Baku State University has been awarded the I place, the command of Azerbaijani State Economic University has borrowed the II place, commands of Universities of Caucasus and Eurasia – won the III place.  Winners of the championship were awarded by appropriating diplomas and cups.

10 men's teams and 9 women's teams of higher educational institutions were participated on competitions. At the round-robin competitions, the I place among female commands took the command of the Baku State University, II place - a command of the Azerbaijan Medical University has borrowed, and III place - was taken by the Eurasia University team. Among the men's teams- I place was borrowed with a command of University Eurasia, II place was taken by command of Azerbaijan Medical University, and a command of Baku State University was awarded the III place.

Yusif oglu Amirali Yusubov graduated from the faculty of chemistry of Azerbaijan State University. In 1978 he became the candidate of chemical sciences, and in 1994, received a scientific degree of a doctor of chemical sciences. Author and co-author of 184 scientific and educational-methodical works. In 1973-1981 worked on a position of the post-graduate student and as scientific research assistant in College of Organic Chemistry of Academy of sciences ССР. In 1981-1997 he worked on positions of the associate professor, the professor, head of Department at the Azerbaijan Institute (Academy) of National Economy. In 1997-2011 years, was the professor of faculty of the general and inorganic chemistry at the Baku State University. In February, 2011 has been appointed to a position of the pro-rector on teaching department of Ganja State University (GSU). Since December 2013, performs the duties of Rector of the GSU.

 In accordance with the schedule of citizens reception by central executive bodies for March 2014, at a reception held at the headquarters of "New Azerbaijan" Party of the Goranboy region have been listened the appeals of citizens and many of the issues have been resolved on the spot. On some of the issues have been instructed the relevant authorities of the Ministry. The references of some citizens not entering into the competence of the ministry or having personal character, are registered with objective of a direction in appropriating bodies and their decision is taken under the control.

The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education, teachers, parents and students. The main purpose of the event is to allow students to demonstrate their abilities, extracurricular activities and granting to parents of a possibility to see performances of their children. The Ministry of Education paying special attention to a question of the effective organization of a free time of students, and at this concert again has shown what great value is given to progress of cooperation between parents and teachers. On a concert, the schoolchildren- participating in extracurricular activities of Children's and Youth Creative Center, demonstrated the literary-artistic compositions dedicated to celebration of Novruz. National dances and playing on the various musical instruments, demonstrated by schoolchildren, have been met with greater interest. After the artistic part, director of the Children's and Youth Creative Center - Lale Geti thanked the parents actively supporting their children's employment in various circles, noting that these parents are awarded with diplomas of the Ministry of Education.

The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Eeducation, the directors of the education departments of the city Shirvan, Salyan, Neftchala, Saatly, Sabirabad and Gadjikabul districts, school principals, teachers and representatives of the mass media. The participants of the “Round Table” expressed their thinking on development priorities and ensure the quality of education within the framework of the State Strategy. Highlighted the importance of social support for the successful implementation of the provisions of the State Strategy, and also meaningfulness of readiness of the employees in the pedagogical sphere to corresponding reforms is underlined. The meeting with the deserved teacher living in region Neftchala with 65 years of pedagogical experience – Imamverdi Abilov is lead, have been listened with interest his optimistic ideas and the ideas related to development of the education system in the country.
