A shell hit a school building in Aghdam region

The deceased Aysu Isgandarova was a 2nd grade schoolchild of Garayusifli village secondary school of Barda region. Abdurrahim bey Asad bey oghlu Hagverdiyev was born in Agbulag village around Shusha suburb of Karabakh district in 1870. Abdurrahim bey Hagverdiyev, who was a writer, playwright, pedagogue, literary critic, theater figure, coryphaeus of classical Azerbaijani literature, gave lectures on literature at the Azerbaijan State University (Baku State University -present), operated as enlightened educated man. For two years, Aliyar Aliyev worked as a teacher at Saransk State University and then continued his pedagogical activity in his native village. Aliyar Aliyev is well known for his heroism in the Garabakh war. He was posthumously awarded the title of “National Hero of Azerbaijan” by the decree of the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Armenian Armed Forces fired at a school building in Aghdam region

At the morning hours on October 26, the Armenian Armed Forces fired at a secondary school building in Garadagli village of Aghdam region. As a result, the school building was severely damaged. It should be noted that, 400 pupils study in Garadagli village secondary school, 43 teachers work at the school. To date, over 40 school buildings have been damaged by enemy aggression.
