Officials of The Ministry of Education, The Sabail and Khatai District Executive Power, Milli Majlis’s members, school directors, education experts took part in the  event. Making a speech in the ceremony, Ceyhun Bayramov deputy minister of education stressed that, “State Strategy on development of eduation in the Azerbaijan Republic” reflects several core targets directed on determination of talented children and their development. Olympiads and subject contests have special importance in the detection of talented children. Taking this into account, final phase of Republic subject olympiads have been conducted according to the principles of transparency and openness under special supervision of The Ministry of Education. At the same time, results have been seriously analyzed and investigated. Ceyhun Bayramov stated that, analysis detected need for some improvements and novelties on several directions especially on the sphere of natural sciences. Ceyhun Bayramov, deputy minister of education stated that contests support determination of talented pupils of in the lower grades. Relevant support in the schools will be one of main directions of ministry’s activity in 2015 for correct organization of work with talented pupils. Fuad Muradov, member of Milli Majlis stressed great importance of the contests, olympiads in the improvement of pupils’ knowledges. According to deputy, such knowledge contests make opportunity for high level participation of the pupils in the olympiads held at international level. Emin Amrullayev, deputy head of department on educational development programs of The Ministry of Education informed about subject contest. E. Amrullayev pointed that, contest has been conducted on two directions including mathematics and natural sciences (chemistry, biology, physics). Schools have been represented with 9-man teams including 3 persons form every VII, VIII and IX grades on the subject of mathematics in the contest. Up to 600 pupils took part in the knowledge contest held in three phases. Goal of contest is to increase interest of the pupils to different subjects, create condition for them to demonstrate their skills and abilities, form strong competition sense among the pupils and detection of talented pupils. Emin Amrullayev presented specialy translated and printed means for the pupils who want to participate in the olympiads on the subjects of mathematics and informatics. One of this means are the issus used in different years in the republic subjec olympiads held on the subject of mathematics an its settlement as well as book that consist of translation of the issues on international mathematics olympiad in Azerbaijan language. In addition, questions of international “Kangaroo” contest which reflects non-standard mathematical problems have been issued for low-grade students after translation in Azerbaijan language. Pupils who individually kept I, II and II place on the subject of mathematics, chemistry, physics and biology, have been awarded to diploma and medals in the ceremony. Students that are in the first ten on each subject have been awarded to the prizes. Secondary schools who kept I, II and III places on mathematics and natural sciences in team score, have been awarded to cup.

Main goal of championship lasted for two days is to determine team of “Təhsil” Republic Sport Center (RSC) to be participated in Azerbaijan championship on february. 34 athelets from sport schools under The Ministry of Education struggled in the championship. Highly organized contest held under hard competition condition. According to the results of contest, Ganja branch of “Təhsil” Republic Sport Center (RSC) kept  the 1 st place, Republic Specialized Olympic Reserves Child-Youth Sport Center No. 1 the 2 nd place, Jalilabad Child-Youth Sport School (CYSC) the 3 rd place under team score. Athletes of these sport estab;ishments demonstrated positive performance under personal scores.

Officials of The Ministry of Education, Milli Majlis’ members, responsible persons of Sumgait City Executive Power, representatives of Azerbaijan Writers Union (AWY), writers, educational experts, school directors took part in the event. Visitors initially were acquainted with aloud reading skills of 6-9 and 10-13 year old pupils in the separate classrooms. Lyceum’s pupils organized presentation of “reading books” created among separate age groups. Then congratulation has been continued in the conference hall. Anar, chairman of Azerbaijan Writers Union reccomended the pupils to appropriate habits on free analysis of the compositions. He stressed that reading enthusiasm of the pupils from early ages is positive point. Agababa Ibrahimov, advisor of education minister challenged the pupils to take positive sample from the compositions red by them. According to him, tachers and parents must direct children on reading of compositions that promote kindness and patriotism, at same time high human values. Club members aged 14-17 sounded “Martyrs” poem of B.Vahabzadeh as performance. Club members that consist of VII grade pupils discussed “Khasay” composition of A.Shaig. Visitors watched the discussions of “Fairy tale” by Andeson in Azerbaijan language, “King Lear” composition by Shakespeare in English language with interest. Main goal of project “Increase of reading culture and reading motivation” is to increase interest to reading in the pupils, agitate acquaintance of the pupils with fiction and documentary work and other text types in the educational institutions. Evaluaton, exchnage of literature red by the pupils and teachers through different text types also creation of reflective reading habits in the pupils are envisaged within framework of project.

Strongest 22 chess-players of Azerbaijajn took part in the contest held under Switzerland system. “Təhsil” Republic Sport Center (RSC) were represented with 9 chess-players. Rauf Mammadov, chess-player of center obtained 6.5 points afrom 9 games and became a winner. Although other chess-player Eltaj Safarli obtained 6.5 points from 9 games but he kept the 2 nd place according to game coefficient. More two players were included in the first decimal. Chess-players who kept the 1 st and 2 nd place in the contest achieved chance to take part in the world cup.

According to order, weekly teaching burden norm of the teachers whose skills and abilities are diagnostically evaluated and who are functioning in the state secondary education institutions increased 1.5 times, their monthly wage 2 times on average. Employees of head office of The Minstry of Education and history experts took part in the event. First of all, minute of silence made for memory of our compatriots who have been killed on january 20, 1990. Firudin Gurbanov, deputy minister of education informed about the massarces commited against the civilians by USSR military unions in the    Baku city and other regions of country 25 years ago, also stressed that our nation demonstrate firmness of his struggle made for our democracy and sovereignity with the same event that is one of most important factors of our blood memory. Necessity emerged on delivery of the truths on the events taking place in the case where republic is surrounded by information blockade to world community operatively. At that time, national leader Heydar Aliyev accused the responsible persons for tragedy of our nation not only in one step of Kremlin but also before all world despite all pressures and threats. Persons who make a speech in the event talked about the reasons derived from the same tragedy. At the end, short film related to 20 january tragedy has been demonstrated.

Goal of contest is to determine team of “Təhsil” Republic Sport Center in this age group. Natig Lachinov, director of “Təhsil” Republic Sport Center stated in the opening ceremony that, such contests contribute in agitation and development of box, at the same time education of the juveniles in patriotism spirit. Generally 140 athletes from twenty sport school under The Ministry of Education struggled in the championship. According to the results of hard struggles, team of Specialized Olympic Reserves Child-Youth Sport School No.1 of “Təhsil” Republic Sport Center kept the 1 st place, team of Child-Youth Sport School No. 1 of Ganja city the 2 nd place, team of Child-Youth Sport School No. 1 of Agdash region the 3 rd place on team score. Winners who kept place on different weight categories and team score, have been awarded to medal, diploma and cups.

57 teams from 15 teams took part in the olympiad organized by The Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhistan, Almaty Physics-mathematics “İstedadlar” lyceum, “DARIN” science centre. Azerbaijan was represented by 3 teams that consist of 19 persons in the event. Pupils competed as teams on th subjects of mathematics, physics and informatics in the olympiad where up to 400 pupils took part. Azerbaijan pupils achieved successful results on the subjects of mathematics and phyiscs. Muhammad Shirinov, pupil of X grade of Baku “İstək” lyceum kept 2 nd place and silver meda, Tahir Nadirov, pupil of X grade of Guba “İstək” lyceum kept 3 rd place and bronze medal in the olympiad held on the subject of mathematics. Sabuhi Mikayilov, pupil of IX grade of Guba “İstək” lyceum kept 3 rd place and has been awarded to bronze medal on the subject of physics. It should be noted that, “İstək” lyceum is functioning by adding international programs under curriculum approved by The Ministry of Education and ensures particpation of the pupils in the knowledge and logic olympiades regularly.

Citizens mostly appealed on recruitment of the teachers or replacement of the teachers from one work place to other one also from one region to other one, restoration to the work, recognition of education documents, transfer of higher and secondary education students from one educational institution to other one, study fee and other issues in the reception held in accordance with citizens reception schedule of the leaders of central executive powers in the town and regions for january, 2015.    Appeal of 57 citizens has been listened and most issues settled immediately. Relevant bodies of the ministry have been instructed related to several appeals. Appeals of some citizens that are beyond of ministry’s power or bear personal character, have been recorded and controlled in order to deliver in the attention of relevant bodies.
