The International Sustainable World (Energy, Engineering and Environment) Project Olympiad was held in Houston with the participation of nearly 70 countries and 48 states of America from May 7 to 10.
The scientific project on "The absorption, movement and collection of nanoparticles in plants: nanofitotoxicology" of Farrukh Rahmatzade, Ayan Hajibeyli and Fuad Abdulzade, students of Baku European Lyceum, became a winner among 427 projects, presented on the topic "Environmental management and pollution", and was awarded a gold medal.
It should be noted that this project was implemented with the participation of Olga Humbatova, biology teacher of Baku European Lyceum, and with the guidance and support of Mohammadali Ramazanov, professor of Nano Research laboratory of Nano Research laboratory of BSU, and Ismet Ahmadov, associate professor.
