The Azerbaijani Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev is on an official visit to the Kingdom of Morocco. On February 16th, a meeting took place with the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Morocco, Rashid Talbi Alami, as part of the visit. At the meeting, the parties discussed the current collaboration between the two countries in science and education, as well as initiatives planned for the near future.

A series of meetings were held at the headquarters of “Huawei” company during the working visit of the Ministry of Science and Education delegation to the People's Republic of China.   The parties discussed existing opportunities for cooperation in the field of information and communication technologies, in particular, innovative solutions for education management, as well as the company's advanced practices in research and development.   Representatives from “Huawei” company provided a comprehensive overview of their latest technological innovations in artificial intelligence, digital transformation strategies, and global projects being implemented in this area. Specifically, discussions covered the establishment of innovative laboratories, the organization of joint research programs, personnel training, and mechanisms for knowledge transfer within the framework of cooperation with educational and scientific-research institutions.

As part of their visit to the People's Republic of China, a delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Science and Education Hasan Hasanli held a meeting with Ren Youqun, the Deputy Minister of Education of the People's Republic of China.   During the meeting, the parties held a detailed exchange of views on a number of areas of cooperation, including artificial intelligence, new initiatives planned in the field of general education, and the possibility of establishing a joint university in higher education.

A delegation led by Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev is on a visit to the United Arab Emirates. The purpose of the visit is to participate in the World Governments Summit in Dubai at the invitation of Abdulrahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation and Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the UAE.   The 2026 World Governments Summit, themed “Shaping the Governments of the Future,” was attended by more than 6,000 high-level officials, including ministers around the world, over 400 distinguished speakers, and representatives from more than 80 international organizations.   As part of the summit, Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev took part in a ministerial panel on “The Future of Labor” organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the United Arab Emirates. During the panel discussion, participants discussed topical issues related to the transformation of the labor market, the impact of science and technology on the business world, and the exchange of innovative approaches and best international practices.

As part of the visit of Deputy Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hasan Hasanli to the State of Israel, a Memorandum of Understanding on Scientific Cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology of the State of Israel. On the Israeli side, the Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology of the State of Israel, Gila Gamliel.   The Memorandum of Understanding provides for the organization of cooperation with the State of Israel in areas such as the implementation of joint research projects between higher education institutions and scientific institutions, joint funding of research projects, exchanges of doctoral students, scientists and teaching staff, the organization of joint events, and activities in other areas.
