Hasan Hasanli Participates in the British Council's "Climate Connection" Program Launch
On November 11, as part of the 29th session of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), the British Council launched its “Climate Connection” program.
Hasan Hasanli, Deputy Minister of Science and Education, attended the event.
It was announced that the “Climate Connection” program serves as a platform for global climate collaboration, engaging 22 million individuals and bringing together more than 7,500 partners.
This year, the British Council has focused its climate-related efforts on strengthening the role of arts, culture, and education in combating climate change, empowering youth initiatives, and fostering discussions with key stakeholders.
It was also noted that during COP29, the British Council will showcase research, expert panels, workshops, training, and interactive sessions led by the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
