Exchange of opinion around the issues on enlargement of application of multimedia means in the education system and strengthening of the relations on different phases of education, has been performed in the meetings. Also, actions envisaged on the direction of development of education qualities and increase of usage efficiency from Information Communication Technologies in the teaching process.    It was pointed that, realization of joint projects together with “Microsoft”, “CISCO” and “Intel” corporations on the different directions of education, will increase the opportunities for creation of infrastructure in accordance with ICT-based training technologies in the education institutions. According to the requirements of modern time, opinions on importance of benefiting the opportunities of e-teaching resources and web technologies have been sounded, existence of wide perspectives for collaboration’s development has been stressed in the teaching process.

4 athletes of “Təhsil” Republic Sport Center differed interclubs on taekwando where nearly 2000 athletes form 50 countries participated. So, athlete of Center Ilham Aliyev kept 1 st place on 45 kilogram and achieved gold medal. Tahmina Huseynova kept 2 nd place on 44 kilogram, Ravan Huseynov on 48 kilogram and Rafaello Huseynova on 59 kilogram kept 3 rd place. According to the general results, teaa of “Təhsil” Republic Sport Center kept the 3 rd place on team score. Azerbaijan athletes struggled in the Turkey-Open International Tournament on taekwando. Ilham Aliyev kept the 1 st place on 45 kilogram and rose to the first step of honorary podium.

According to the order of The President of Azerbaijan Republic “About organization of the best secondary school and the best teacher awards”, contest is performed under order of minister of education “About organization of  “The best secondary school” and “The best teacher” contests” according to the results of 2013-2014 acadmic year. Organizational Committee has been established under guidance of Firudin Gurbanov, deputy minister of education in order to ensure collegial decisions related to regulation of this process and conducting of the contests. Leaders of relevant structure sections of the ministry also are represented in the Organizational Committee. 94 secondary schools and 296 teachers appealed to organizational committee for participation in the contest. Documents submitted in the first phase of the contests, have been verified and 61 schools, also 131 teachers obtained right to take part in the next phase. It should be noted that, exemplary lessons of the teachers will be organized in the selected schools of Baku in the 2 nd phase of “The best teacher” contest.

Memorandum has been signed by Mikayil Jabbarov, minister of education and Novruz Aslanov, the president of Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society. Memorandum is aimed to determine mutual collaboration directions for increase of efficiency of these works taking into account realization of important part of Red Crescent Society’s activity in the state education institutions. According to the memorandum, The Ministry of Education will support humanitarian action in the education institutions of Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society. Red Crescent Society will involve the learners in relevant seminrar, training session, campaign, summer camps and other suitable actions. Also, organization of relevant production internship for humanitarian faculties’ students of state education institutions in the structures of Red Crescent Society, is envisaged.

 “Baku Higher Oil School”, “Sumgait”, “Romantic” and “Azerbaijan” teams who were winner of the games held during november month, struggled for the name of champion in the contest organized in “Baku Crystal Hall” and broadcasted via AzTV. First of all, “Azerbaijan” and “Romantic” teams met in the game that consist of  2 qualification and 2 final meeting traditionally. “Romantic” won the game. The second qualification game took place between “Baku Higher Oil School” and “Sumgait” teams. Students won the game with a great score against their opponents from sumgait.  “Romantic” and “Baku Higher Oil School” competed in the final game. Winning the game with the score 5:0 in the first game, then 5:1 in the second game, “Romantic” became champion of november month and obtained right to play in the final phase of contest.

Conference has been organized by The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, European Commission and European Education Fund. Representatives of 6 countries included in “Eastern Partnership Platform 4” in the event. Azerbaijan was represented by the officials of The Ministry of Education, Labor and People’s Social Protection, Economy and Industry, State Statistic Committee, State Employment Service, embassy of Azerbaijan to Georgia in the conference. Nigar Ismayilzade, specialist of primary vocational and secondary education department of The Ministry of Education, presented her report of Turin process about Azerbaijan on 2014. Actions taken during 2 years on the direction of vocational education and training system in Azerbaijan, have been talked in the  report, the piorities of target objectives have been announced. It was stated that, reprsentatives of different state bodies closely took part in the Turin process on 2014. Employers, NGOs and experts have been involved in the discussions regarding with this matter. It should be pointed that, our country makes a speech with the second report on Turin process. Discussions at national level has been made through participation of interested parties in Azerbaijan on Turin process implemented by coordination of Seymur Ismayilov, advisor of minister of Education. Statistic indicators on 7 indicators, have been presented in the second half of conference dedicated on the topic “measurement and development of company’s effectiveness through comparing existing “the best indicator- benchmarking on 2020 targets: European Union”. Countries’ achievements on the development directions assigned by European Union till 2020, have been comparatively pointed and indicators on involvement of population in educaton, education levels, employment, literacy have been discussed. Azerbaijan annonunced obtaining of result closer to indicator on mentioned indicators in the report and besides, compilation of relevant state programs on the priorities assigned on other directions, has been pointed.

Prominent persons on the sphere of pedagogical researches from Georgia, Kazakhistan, Russia and Latvia, also the deputies of Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan, the officials of relevant state bodies, representatives of non-governmental organizations, teachers of higher and secondary education took part in the event jointly organized by The Ministry of Education, The Institute of Educational Problems. Goal of conference is to dicsuss modern tendencies on the sphere of formation of the learners as moral- ethical development and personality, existing advanced exchange of experience and its integration ways in Azerbaijan education. Opening the event with introduction word, Gulu Novruzov, director of The Institute of Educational Problems stated that, Humanist Pedagogy Center has been opened for the first time in our country in the institution led by her. Institute’s director pointed that, seminar on the topic “Bases of personality-oriented- humanist approach for children in the education process” has been conducted by participation of the teachers. Different countries’ representaitves have been involved in the organization of the seminars. Making a speech in the conference, Firudin Gurbanov, deputy of education minister stressed that, moral education is always focused. Most important objective is to form sober-minded generations. Deputy minister stressed that, some school directors  don’t approach in the work of formation of harmonic person seriously: “Although they pay special attention to the issue on development of teaching, but some school directors approach to the issues like education-training, also formation of the pupils as personality superficially. We must educate literate, as well as  pure and well-bred citizens from moral point of view”. Firudin Gurbanov pointed that, one of important changes before education system in our country is to create condition for the learners to demonstrate themselves as personality. Then, Shalva Amonashvilli, president of International Humanist Pedagogical Association expressed her opinions related to moral- ethical values in the education. More than 200 young scientist and specialist, prominent intellectuals will report on the topics that surround modern aspects of humanist approach in the pedagogy.

Touching upon the works on the sphere of general education for last one year, obtained achievements and the priorities, Mikayil Jabbarov, minister of education of Azerbaijan Republic pointed importance of preserve of this positive dynamics and continuation of the reforms, paying attention to manageent of the secondary schools located in Baku, material-technical and personnel supply, occurence of significant changes in the issue of teaching process’s coordination.    By purpose to strengthen management in Baku City Education Department and increase support of The Ministry of Education in current activity, implementation of joint guidance has been charged in Ceyhun Bayramov, deputy minister of education under minister’s order. Mahabbat Valiyeva, director of lyceum named after academician Zarifa Aliyeva has been appointed in the post of deputy director of Baku City Education Department under other order of education minister.

Conference hosted by Lithuania Council of Universities and Vilnus Applied Sciences University, has been dedicated to the topic “How to ensure quality in the higher education”. Afgan Abdullayev, senior consultant of sector of Licensing and Accreditation of The Ministry of Education, made a speech “About transperancy and report issues in the provision of quality” in the event. More than 230 representatives who represented 95 universities and educational organizations of Europe and USA, took part in the conference. Conference’s participants discussed methods and mechanisms of quality assurance in the higher education. Exchange of opinion has been made around the issues like quality and quality assurance, quality, quality assurance and quality culture, European standards in the quality assurance, quality in the double education programs, globalization and quality assurance, quality collaboration with the institutions (employers), essence of quality assuracne in the professional higher education in the student-oriented training. Andreas Orfanides, president of European Higher Education Institutions Association, Rimantas Vaitkus, deputy minister of education and science of Lithuania, Gintautas Brajunas, rector of Vilnus Applied Sciences University, Mario Kelo, director of European Higher Education Quality Assurance Association (EHEQA), Klara Engels- Pereny, higher education expert of European Council made a speech in the conference. Also, presentation of inquiry book named “Internal Quality Assurance in the Higher Education” was held in the conference. Luchien Bollaert, author of book, member of Management Group (ECA) of European Accreditation Consortium and Netherlands Accreditation Community, informed about book.

Citizens’ appeals have been listened in the reception held according to citizens’ reception schedule of central executive power bodies on december, 2014 in the town and regions and most of issues are operatively settled. Relevant bodies of ministry are tasked related to several appeals. Appeals that have personal character or are beyond of the authorities of some citizens’ citizens, have been registered and taken under control in order to deliver in the relevant bodies.
