302 of 978 projects submitted in the contest passed to III stage. According to relevant evaluation, the authors of works who obtained higher points in this stage, will make a speech with presentation before Organizational Committee. The contest is supported by “Dr. Web”, “Education for future” program of Intel corporation, “Edumedia-Azerbaijan”, “AZEDUNET”, “Ultra”, Madad Azerbaijan and “Nar Mobile” companies. He winners of contest will be awarded to special diplomas, notebooks, tablets, printers and other prizes by The Ministry of Education.

Several prominent cultural and fine arts figures of republic, as well as national artists of republic Arif Babayev, Rauf Babayev, Azerpasha Nematov together with teacher and teacher staff of Music College took part in the meeting. Opening jubilee evening, Nazim Kazimov, director of college informed the visitors about Siyavush Karimi’s life and creative way, public, pedagogical activity. National artists like Arif Babayev, Rauf Babayev, Azerpasha Nematov, Agajabrayil Abbasaliyev talked their different interesting memories related to composer. Event was continued with concert program in performance of Music College’s students. Samples for the compositions of Azerbaijan and world composers, have been sounded in different solo performances. Jubileer performed one of his songs together with honorary artist Anar Shushali while coming to the stage at the end of concert. Making a speech at the end of event,  thanking event’s participants of Music College, the performers who demonstrated interesting program, jubileer stressed that he will do his best for development of Azerbaijan’s music culture.

There are generally 20 e-textbooks in the portal. Users can freely download  e -textbooks on VII grade in e-pub, offline and online format  from portal. Total number of website users is 16591 till today, aswell as 5199 on Baku, 1275  for Sumgait, 567 on Ganja cities. New initiative of “BP-Azerbaijan” surrounded up to 200 upper grade pupils selected from the secondary schools of Baku. Inititatve invloved the pupils of 8-10 th grade who are interested in technical subjects and have higher potential, is implemented by “Development of Young Engineers” Public Union. By purpose to support the pupils to select their future career directions within framework of initiative, several trainings have been conducted. Favourable condition has been created for the participants to obtain wide information on experience and knowledges of professional engineers, also information on the opprtunities on the sphere of engineering in projects where BP is operator in Azerbaijan in the semnars. The program of seminars consisted of the presentations on engineering specialties, interesting talks on the careers of BP’s experienced engineers, also special psyhcologicaland capability tests for the participants. After completion of the seminars, all participants have been awarded the certificates, most successful pupils with the prizes.

Memorandum has been signed by Mikayil Jabbarov, minister of education and Knt Terje Ingebresten, executive director of Central Fund. Goal in signing of memorandum, is to contribute in development of vocational education and training (VET) in Azerbaijan under national strategies determined by The Ministry of Education, also support in creation of content, as well as method, infrastructure in accordance with the requirements of modern vocational education and training system. Core directions of project “Development and Strengtheing of Vocational Education and Training in Azerbaijan” include increase of teacher and management staff’s competencies on vocational training, updating of vocational education and training’s content, compilation and improvement of the curriculums. Number of actions will be taken under creation of legislation that ensures of collaboration among relevant bodies, primary vocational education and industrial enterprises, strenthening of the relations between the employers and PTT within framework of project. It should be noted that, Rogaland Training and Education Center is allocated 15.9 million Norway cron by The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway by purpose to develop and strengthen Vocational Education Training system in Azerbaijan.

523 persons have been registered by e-application on november 17-24, 2014 in the website bakuedu.az. Registered candidates will pass examination in the 2 nd phase. Successful candidades will take part in the interview organized by commission in the 3 rd phase. Successful candidates will be placed in the vacant positions or in the absence of vacant positions, candidates’ documents will be collected in personnel base of Baku City Department of Education. In the case of new vacancies, employment of these candidates is envisaged.

High rank officials of Education Ministries of member states to Cooperation Council of Turkish-speaking Countires take part in the event. The issues like current situation of collaboration on the sphere of education among member countires to Cooperation Council of Turkish-speaking Countries and main directions of relations’ development, as well as exchange programs, working out of common textbooks, exchange of pupil at the econdary education level, establishment of Scientifical Council of Turkish Academy and other issues, have been discussed in the meeting. It should be noted that, the 3 rd meeting of education ministers of member countires to Cooperation Council of Turkish-speaking Countires will be held on november 28 in Baku. Fourth qualification game on november, has been held under special rule unlike the previous games. So, although previous qualification games consisted of two qualification and two final game and was held among team, the fourth qualification game has been organized under “team who losses contest leave the game” principle in the present game. Teams have been selected among the 16 teams who had less participation in the contest organized since september 7. Other difference of game was continuation of the games among the teams till obtaining of 3 points by one of them. The game started with meeting between “Kafkas University” and “Mardakan” teams. Although winner “Kafkaz University” defeated “Sheki” then “Siyazan” team, but lost “Khizi” team.  “Khizi” team invited “Gabala” team for competition and won the game with the score of 3:2. The 6 th game was held between “Khizi” and “Lankaran” teams. Lenkaran team won the game (3:0). The next game held between “Lankaran” and “Baku State University” teams ended with victory of the last one.  “Baku State University” competed with “National Aviation Academy” and lost with the score of 2:3 in the 8 th game.  “National Aviation Academy” met “Azerbaijan” teams in the 8 th game. The last game was held between “Azerbaijan” and “Orion” teams. “Azerbaijan” team who won the game with the score of 4:1, obtained right to take part in the championship of november month. This team will compete with “Baku Higher Oil School”, “Sumgait” and “NUR” teams.

Nabi Avji, minister of national education of Turkey, Mikayil Jabbarov, minister of education of Azerbaijan, Kanat Sadikov, minister of education of Kyrgyzstan, Yekta Sarach, chairman of Supreme Education Council of Turkey, Ramil Hasanov, secretary general of Turkish Council, Darhan Kidirali,  head of Turkish Academy, Aliya Galimova, executive secretary of The Mnistry of Eduction of Kazakihistan, as well as as observers Turkmenistan’s representatives, the representatives of several higher education institutions of Azerbaijan and other relevant bodies, took part in the meeting hosted by Azerbaijan. First of all, event’s participants visited the graves of national leader Heydar Aliyev and prominent ophthalmologist Zarifa Khanum Aliyeva in the honorary alley. Then, they put bunches of flowers on the grave of the martyrs who died for independence and freedom of our Homeland in the Alley of martyrs. Fatma Abdullazade, head of department on humanitarian policy issues of Presidential Adminstration red the letter of President Ilham Aliyev addressed to the evetn’s participants in the opening ceremony of meeting. The representatives of member countries to Cooperation Council of Turkish Countries, discussed current condition of colloboration on the sphere of education. Conceret proposals related to main directions of relations’ development, as well as exchange programs working out of joint textbooks, exchange of pupil at the secondary education level, establishent of Scientifical Council of Turkish Academy and other issues, have been reviewed. Mikayil Jabbarov, minister of education informed about the reform simplemnted on the sphere of education in Azerbaijan, achieved successes and the prioritis in detailed.  The minster pointed that regular meetings among the  representaitves of turkish-speaking countries has significant importance in further enlargement of our relations. Italian specialist, casting manager of ceremonies team Nicoletta Corradin gave detailed information related to participation rules in the opening and closing cermonies of “Baku-2015” European Games in the presentation jontly held by student youth organization of Azerbaijan Teachers Institute and Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations Union (ASYOU). It was stated that, it’s possible to order casting session through filling in application form selecting “Join us” menu entering baku2015.com page. N. Korradin pointed that, the castings will be held on november-december of 2014, the trainings will start on march of 2015.
