100 students, who will be educated in the first academic year in the branch, have already been determined. 54 of them have received secondary education in Baku, 14 of them - in Ganja and the remaining 32 people - in other regions of the country. 89 of them have finished secondary school in Russian and 11 of them have finished secondary school in Azerbaijani. The teaching process will be conducted in Russian. The branch building is located on the campus of the Academy of Sciences and is equipped with modern equipment in accordance with the standards established for medical education. Specialty subject classes will be taught by the teaching staff of First Moscow State Medical University. Humanitarian and foreign language lessons will be taught by teachers, selected from higher education institutions of Azerbaijan through a competition. It should be remembered that the entrants, who scored 350 points or more at examinations held by the State Students Admission Commission (SSAC) for the fourth specialty group, could participate in the entrance examinations conducted by the Commission of First Moscow State Medical University named after I. M. Sechenov for admission to the branch. These entrants have passed the Russian language and chemistry exams via the internet in an online format for the Commission established by First Moscow State Medical University named after I. M. Sechenov. The teaching activities of the branch will be carried out on the basis of teaching plan and programs of Moscow State Medical University and the graduates will be presented with the Diploma of this higher education institution.

Changes have been made to the "Rules on payment of tuition fees of Azerbaijani youth in higher education institutions of foreign countries", approved by the decision no. 261 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic dated November 27, 2008 on paying monthly stipends to students, studying in the UK, in Pound Sterling within the framework of the "State Program on education of Azerbaijani youth abroad in the years 2007-2015". The execution of the "State Program on education of Azerbaijani youth abroad in the years 2007-2015", approved by Order No. 2090 dated April 16, 2007 of the President of Azerbaijan Republic, and the provision of financial support for students, studying within this framework, to gain specialty knowledge and get a quality education are in the spotlight of the Ministry of Education. The changes, observed in the euro exchange rate as a result of the financial crisis occurred in European countries in recent times, have negatively affected the financial situation of Azerbaijani youth, studying in the UK within the framework of the State Program. Given the numerous appeals received from students and parents by the Ministry of Education, on the basis of the joint request of the Ministry of Education and the State Oil Fund, the changes have been made by the Decision No. 268 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic dated 21.07.2015 to the Rules on paying monthly stipends to students, studying in the UK, not in Euro but in Pound Sterling since the academic year 2015-2016. This step will ensure the protection of scholarships of students, studying in the UK within the framework of the State Program, from the recent changes in the euro exchange rate. We are confident that all students, studying within the framework of the State Program, will graduate with high academic achievements and will contribute to the reforms conducted for the future development of Azerbaijan and the welfare of our people.

Muhammad Shirinov and Farid Hasanli - members of Azerbaijani team won a bronze medal in the Olympiad. The incentive prizes were presented to Mirali Ahmadli, Tahir Nadirov, Anar Huseynov and Farman Dumanov. The Ministry of Education pays special attention to the selection and development of talented students. Thus, the Olympiad Centers were opened in lyceums and gymnasiums, directly subordinated to the Ministry. The Olympiad Centers operate in order to prepare schoolchildren with special talents for national and international Olympiads. As well as, the entrance examinations of VI, VII, VIII grade students for these academic institutions were conducted in a centralized manner. The main purpose of the conduction of these examinations is to identify talented students and to provide them with a quality education on the basis of the different programs. Since this year, many innovations have been applied to the process of conducting the Republican Subject Olympiads. So, unlike previous years, Olympiad questions were not applied openly, but were presented in test format at the initial stage in order to ensure transparency and fair evaluation. In addition, for the first time, the champion was determined on the nomination "The winner of the winners" among the participants in each subject.

It should be noted that Mugam Television Contest is held since 2005 with support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, on the basis of the project of Azerbaijan Culture Foundation, with organizational support of Azerbaijan TV, with participation of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. 20 young singers were chosen from among 500 candidates participating in selection process (rounds) held in Barda, Shamakhi and Baku. Performances of young singers were assessed by a jury consisting of connoisseurs of mugham - People's Artists Alibaba Mammadov, Arif Babayev, Sakina Ismailova, Mansum Ibrahimov, Ramiz Guliyev and honored artists Sardar Farajov and Nadir Akhundov. Nisbet Sedrayeva participated in many competitions and festivals during the study period at school. She was awarded first place in the II Republican contest of young performers dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev and organized by the Ministry of Education in 2013. She became the laureate of the II Republican contest of national musical instruments and singers in 2014.
