A delegation from the Ministry of Science and Education visits the “Microsoft” Innovation Centre
On 28-29 May 2025, meetings between the delegation of the Ministry of Science and Education and the regional Microsoft team on opportunities for cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence and education were held at the Microsoft Innovation Centre located in Dubai.
The delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Science and Education Hasan Hasanli.
During the meetings, the parties exchanged detailed views on the application of artificial intelligence technologies in education, data management and the development of large language models (LLM for Education) adapted to education.
Microsoft's approach to transformation in education was presented within the framework of the event, and initiatives implemented by Azerbaijan in this area were discussed. Real examples of the practical use of artificial intelligence in management and learning processes were also presented.
The meetings included technical planning sessions on the development of Large Language Models (LLMs) for education purposes, and Microsoft presented their approach to the ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence.
Following the meetings, approaches to accelerating the digital transformation of education, integrating artificial intelligence and developing processes were agreed upon.
