Our students won 2 bronze medals and 1 incentive award at the 4th European Girls’ Olympiad in Informatics
The 4th European Girls’ Olympiad in Informatics (EGOI 2024) was held on July 21-27 in Veldhoven, Kingdom of the Netherlands.
At the Olympiad, in which 194 schoolgirls from 56 countries took part, our students won 2 bronze medals and 1 incentive award.
Rahidil Bayramli, a 9th grade student of Baku Physics, Mathematics and Informatics biased Lyceum and Nigar Hajiyeva, an 11th grade student of Baku Modern Education Complex, were awarded a bronze medal, and Ayan Kerimova, a 10th grade student of Ganja Republican Physics, Mathematics and Informatics biased Lyceum, was awarded an incentive prize at the said Olympiad
It should be noted that since 2017 the process of preparation for international Olympiads in informatics has been carried out with the support of “Azercell Telekom” LLC. During this period, our students from different age groups across the country have won a total of 72 medals in programming competitions of various scales.
