The Deputy Minister of Science and Education meets with the Regional Director of the British Council for Europe
On October 26, Deputy Minister of Science and Education Hasan Hasanli met with Joanna Burke, Regional Director of the British Council for Europe.
At the meeting, the sides expressed satisfaction with the current state of bilateral relations in the field of education and discussed prospects for further cooperation. The sides noted that a number of projects have been successfully implemented in the Republic of Azerbaijan with the support of the British Council.
It was noted that within the framework of the projects covering the spheres of general, vocational, and higher education, positive contributions were made to the development of teachers' knowledge and skills, as well as to the improvement of the quality of English language teaching. Support was given to the establishment of cooperation between higher education institutions in the Republic of Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom and the development of applied arts and entrepreneurial skills among young people.
At the end of the meeting, a ceremony was held to sign the Letter of Intent on Cooperation between the Ministry of Science and Education and the British Council in Azerbaijan and the Action Plan for the 2023–2024 academic year.
