Azerbaijani Minister of Science and Education meets ISESCO Director General
On October 4, Azerbaijani Science and Education Minister Emin Amrullayev met with a delegation from the Islamic World Education, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) led by Director General Salim bin Muhammad al-Malik.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current status and prospects of co-operation in the field of education between the Ministry of Science and Education and ISESCO.
Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev stressed the importance of establishing student exchange programs within the framework of cooperation with ISESCO and underlined the important role of these programs in promoting the national and spiritual values of the member states.
During the meeting, the holding of Olympiads and art festivals for students in connection with the selection of Shusha city as the "Cultural Capital of the Islamic World" in 2024 was also discussed.
At the same time, Emin Amrullayev talked about the process of Azerbaijan's transition to STEAM-based training and stressed that this experience can be shared with the member states of ISESCO.
