STEAM Center opened in Nakhchivan
The opening ceremony of the STEAM Center was held on June 14 in Nakhchivan.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Fuad Najafli, Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, Minister of Education of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Rahman Mammadov and other guests.
The guests got acquainted with the conditions created for students at the Center. It was reported that the Center, equipped with the necessary equipment, is designed to educate gifted students with special abilities.
It was noted that 156 out of 212 schools located in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic have Steam classrooms. More than 400 teachers took part in Steam trainings and about 19,000 students were involved in Steam education.
