Heydar Aliyev’s legacy was commemorated in the House of Lords
On May 9, a meeting was held in the House of Lords with the participation of Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, British Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy for Azerbaijan Baroness Emma Nicholson and our country’s Ambassador in Great Britain Elin Suleymanov.
It was emphasized that the meeting coincided with the 100th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev’s birth.
It was also expressed in the meeting satisfaction with the cooperation in the field of education between the two countries, and it was stated that the British higher education institutions are on the list of universities preferred by citizens of Azerbaijan within the framework of state programs on education abroad. In addition, views were exchanged on the development prospects of cooperation in general, higher education and research fields.
