Technical Assistance for Teachers project is completed
A handover ceremony was held as part of grant project "Capacity Building of Teachers and Establishment of the Education Information System for the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan". The project was implemented with the financial support of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Science and Education Hasan Hasanli, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Azerbaijan Lee Eun Yong and other officials.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Hasan Hasanli, emphasized the dynamic development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Korea in the field of education, noting the importance of the project in terms of sharing experience in this direction.
Noting that the first National Electronic Content in the Azerbaijani language of teacher advanced training program on the Korean experience was prepared as part of a related project, the deputy minister noted the need for training educational resources.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Lee Eun Yong, who spoke later, noted that the said technical assistance project reflects the successful cooperation between Korea and Azerbaijan in the field of education. Ambassador Lee Eun Yong stated that the Republic of Korea is interested in further expanding its educational cooperation with Azerbaijan.
Note that the aim of the project was to create an e-learning portal to support the professional development of educators, the creation of a studio for video recording, the formation of a mechanism for the creation of National e-content in the Azerbaijani language.
