SAF 2022 kicks off
On December 5, the International STEAM Azerbaijan Festival 2022 (SAF 2022) kicked off at the Baku Expo Center with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
SAF 2022 was organized in the format of a competition in 10 categories, as well as in the format of an exhibition of innovative projects in one category.
A total of 1,312 people from 350 teams participated in SAF 2022. Of these, 127 were foreign countries and 442 were local participants. Foreign participants represent Turkey, Great Britain, Sweden, Estonia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan.
The purpose of the festival is to support STEAM-based education, nurture 21st century skills among students, identify and network creative, digitally savvy students, and research international experience in innovation and digitalization.
