Emin Amrullayev meets with the Minister of Public Education of Uzbekistan
The Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, who is on a visit to Uzbekistan, met with Minister of Public Education of this country Bakhtiyar Saidov.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of cooperation in the field of general education, the implementation of exchange programs for students and teachers, and the organization of presentations among schoolchildren related to the history and common values of the two countries, including increasing the number of fraternal schools.
The Minister of Science and Education shared the achievements of our country in the field of education in recent years, as well as STEAM and digital skills, and Azerbaijan's experience related to the participation of students in international assessment programs (PISA, PIRLS, TIMSS).
The Minister expressed his satisfaction with the upcoming participation of Uzbek students in the STEAM festival, which will be held in our country from December 5 to 9, 2022.
At the same time, Emin Amrullayev expressed gratitude for the Uzbek government's initiative to build a school in the Fizuli district, which had been liberated from occupation.
