Interviews for applicants who wish to obtain citizenship in the Republic of Azerbaijan
During January–September 2022, interviews were organized to test the level of Azerbaijani language proficiency of persons wishing to obtain citizenship in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
During the relevant period, 660 written requests to participate in interviews were registered. Of the 575 people invited to be interviewed, 548 received an "acceptable" result and received a certificate.
The interview process is supported on a voluntary basis by the staff of the Institute of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan as well as by members of the Azerbaijan Young Teachers' Association.
It should be noted that the test of proficiency in the Azerbaijani language is based on a test of the applicant's speaking, reading, and writing skills.
