Meeting within the framework of membership in “World Skills International” organization
On September 23, Minister of Education Emin Amrullayev met with the leadership of “World Skills International” (WSI) in online format.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the main priorities facing the country in the framework of the formalization of Azerbaijan's membership in WSI and the opportunities that membership will create for the country.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that WSI membership was a logical continuation of the measures taken within the framework of the "Strategic Road Map for the development of vocational education and training in the Republic of Azerbaijan".
The meeting was also attended by employees of the State Agency for Vocational Education and the Ministry of Education.
It should be noted that WSI promotes professional skills around the world and is known as the Olympiad of professions. Azerbaijan is expected to become the 85th member of this organization, participate in the General Meeting of the Organization to be held in October of this year, and thus confirm its membership.
