A delegation led by the Azerbaijan’s Minister of Science and Education held a series of meetings in Paris
A delegation led by Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, participating in UNESCO's Global Ministerial Dialogue on Science Diplomacy, met with UNESCO’s Assistant Director-General for Natural Sciences Lidia Brito on 25 March.
The meeting discussed the prospects for the implementation of joint projects in the field of natural sciences and the expansion of institutional partnerships. The parties also discussed the possibility of cooperation in connection with the inclusion of climate literacy indicators of students in the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA), as agreed between the Ministry of Science and Education and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) at COP29.
E. Amrullaev and L. Brito also exchanged views on the development of international cooperation in the field of STEAM education.
The Azerbaijani delegation also met with Azzedine El Midaoui, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation of the Kingdom of Morocco. During the meeting, the current cooperation and prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the field of science and higher education were discussed.
