The Minister of Science and Education meets with students eligible to study abroad under the State Programme
On August 25, Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev met with students eligible to study abroad during the 2022-2023 academic year under the "State Programme for the education of young people at prestigious higher education institutions of foreign countries for 2022-2026”.
During the meeting Emin Amrullayev noted that the State Program, which was approved by a relevant Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, is a demonstration of the special attention of the country's leadership to the youth. The Minister noted that this program will contribute to the training of competitive and highly qualified professional staff meeting the requirements of modern and future labor market, including the process of dynamic development of our country.
At the end of his speech, the Minister of Science and Education wished the students academic success.
At the end of the meeting, the students exchanged their views on issues of concern to them.
It should be noted that the target of the State Program is to provide in 2022-2026 study in prestigious higher education institutions abroad for up to 400 people annually, and in total, up to 2000 citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Under the State Program, at least 80 per cent of study places in foreign higher education institutions will cover master's degrees in higher education.
