Successful result of our students in the Balkan Mathematical Olympiad
The 39th Balkan Mathematical Olympiad was held on May 4-9, 2022.
Our team, represented by 6 students, have shown successful results at the said competition and won a total of 5 medals: 2 silver and 3 bronze.
Thus, Jalil Huseynov and Toghrul Abbasov, a 10th and an 11th grade students of the Physics, Mathematics and Informatics biased Lyceum under the Ministry of Education won a silver medal. Fidan Garayeva, a 10th grade student and Amin Jafarzadeh, an 11th grade student of the same Lyceum, as well as an 11th grade student of the Baku Technical-Humanitarian lyceum No. 2 Elchin Musazadeh won bronze medal.
It should be noted that since 2007 our students who have participated in the Balkan Mathematical Olympiads have won a total of 1 gold, 16 silver and 35 bronze medals.
