The working visit of the Minister of Education to the Republic of France
Mikayil Jabbarov, Minister of Education of the Azerbaijan Republic, continues his working visit to the Republic of France.
During the visit, the meeting was held with Qian Tang, UNESCO's Assistant Director-General, on November 3.
Mikayil Jabbarov underlined the positive development of relations between Azerbaijan and UNESCO, and the role of Azerbaijan's first lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva in this field. The Minister provided detailed information about the reforms carried out within the framework of the "National Strategy for the Development of Education in the Republic of Azerbaijan" approved by the President.
During the meeting, the process of development of relations between Azerbaijan and UNESCO in the field of education was discussed. Mikayil Jabbarov, Minister of Education, invited Qian Tang, UNESCO's Assistant Director-General, to pay a visit to our country.
On that day, the Minister visited the Museum of Science and Industry, operating under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of France, and got acquainted with the exhibitions organized to promote science.
