Deputy Minister of Science and Education Hasan Hasanli addresses the 7th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission

Deputy Minister of Science and Education Hasan Hasanli, as a member of the delegation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, participated in the 7th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland held in London.
 

Addressing the meeting, the Deputy Minister briefed the participants on the current state of cooperation between the two countries in the field of science and education.
 

Hasan Hasanli underlined the significant number of students studying in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and noted the contribution of state and double degree programmes to the development of cooperation in the field of education between the countries. In addition, the Deputy Minister of Science and Education touched on a number of important issues in his speech, such as exploring the possibilities of cooperation in the field of STEAM education and digital assessment and developing cooperation between scientific and higher education institutions.
 

The meeting also included a detailed exchange of views on the possibilities of cooperation in trade, economy, health and other spheres, at the end of which the minutes of the 7th meeting of the Joint Commission were signed. The minutes of the meeting also reflected the issues related to the prospects of developing cooperation in the field of science and education between the two countries.
