Another success of our students
Our national team successfully participated in the 42nd Balkan Mathematical Olympiad in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, April 25-30, winning a total of 3 medals, including 1 silver and 2 bronze.
Thus, the silver medal was awarded to the 9th-grade student of Lyceum No. 287 "Zekalar" of Baku city, Farhad Iskander, and the bronze medals were awarded to the 10th-grade student of Sumgait Lyceum biased in natural sciences, Davud Tarverdili, and the 11th-grade student of Baku Lyceum biased in physics, mathematics, and computer science, Yunis Isayev.
It should be noted that since 2007 our students participating in the Balkan Mathematical Olympiad have won a total of 1 gold, 19 silver and 40 bronze medals.
