The discussions on the transition to a 12-year general education system began
On March 9, the Round Table dedicated to the discussions on the transition to a 12-year general education system was held at the Ministry of Education.
The discussions were attended by senior officers and employees of the Ministry of Education, the Institute of Educational Problems, the Baku city Education Department, as well as heads of schools directly subordinated to the Ministry of Education.
At the event, the discussions on the structure and content of the transition to a 12-year general education system, and the ways of delivery of this issue to society were held.
Taking into account the preschool education stage in the transition to a 12-year general education system, the speakers put forward proposals on possible models of general education, the implementation of education on various subjects in separate schools at the level of complete secondary education, the conduction of preparatory work for the process and the implementation of the pilot stage, as well as on underlining key points during the public awareness program, which will be conducted in this regard.
At the same time, the importance of conducting relevant studies was emphasized at the Institute of Educational Problems in order to determine the effectiveness of the transition to a 12-year general education system.
In the end, it was decided to continue discussions on the transition to a 12-year general education system.
