Trainings started within framework of project “Republic Interschools Debate Forum 2014” by “Debate in the Civil Community” Public Union through support of The Minsitry of Education.
Trainings have been organized in accordance with relevant item of “State Program on struggle against drug addiction and illegal trafficing of the drugs, psychotropic substances and its precursors for 2013-2018”.
Within framework of project initially the trainings have been conducted on the topic of “Strong life style” in the Shaki, Ganja and Shamkir. Up to 150 pupils from 30 schools took part in the trainings. Pupils have been taught primary knowledges through interactive teaching methods in the trainings conducted by Parvin Mammadov, sector head of Republic Drug Testing Center, also they have been informed about strong life style.
The next trainings will be conducted for the pupils of the secondary schools located in Baku, Sumgait and Lankaran cities.
Pupils will take part in the debate trainings and then debate tournaments in the next phase of project. Pupils who obtain successful result in the debate tournaments and winner teams will be awarded.
Generally, goal of “Republic Interschools Debate Forum 2014” is to perform the issues of enlightenment on strong life style among the pupils who study and live in the different regions of Azerbaijan through debate-education methodology.
