• Azərbaycan Xalq Cümhuriyyəti hökumətinin 1918-ci il 28 may tarixli qərarı ilə maarif və təhsil üzrə ilk nazirlik-Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyi yaradılıb. Nazirlər Şurasının 30 iyun 1918-ci il tarixli qərarı ilə Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyinin üç şöbədən (ümumi orta təhsil, ali və orta ixtisas təhsili, peşə məktəbləri) ibarət strukturu təsdiq olunub.

    Azərbaycan SSR Xalq Komissarları Sovetinin 28 aprel 1920-ci il tarixli qərarı ilə Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyinin adı dəyişdirilərək Xalq Maarifi Komissarlığı adı ilə yenidən təşkil edilib və ölkədəki bütün təhsil müəssisələri bu qurumun tabeliyinə verilib.

Education is the future of the nation!

Conference dedicated to future challenges for 2014- 2015 and the results of 2013-2014 academic year, has been held on August 20.

 
Head of the departments of The Ministry of Education, also the directors of region and city education departments and other responsible employees took part in the conference.  
Greeting the participants of conference, Mikayil Jabbarov, The Minister of Education stated that, past academic year was memorable in our mind and reforms of country’ education started from strategical development point of view are successfully continued.
Touching upon reception of several important documents on development of education in te past academic year, Minister stressed that this is a result of care of President Mr. Ilham Aliyev to sphere of education. Pointing importance of preschool education, Minister of Education gave example for wide range actions impemented by Mehriban khanum Aiyeva, Deputy of Milli Majlis, The President of Heydar Aliyev Fund.
Minister appreciated positive results of the reforms implemented on the sphere of struggle against existing negative cases and organization of function of educational establishments under daily requirements, preparation of teaching resources, increase of productivity of teacher’ s action, content of education, as estimable.
Then, the reporters who made a speech in the conference, gave detailed information on future tasks on the results of 2013-2014 academic year, comparative analysis of the results of the graduates of secondary education schools in final examinations, organization of Republic subject olympiades, replacement of th teahcers by contest and recruitment, test assessment of the teachers functioning in the secondary education schools, school’s directors and trainings organized for teaching personel who wish to work at this position in future and assignment process of school’s directors, trainings for next academic year.
Mikail Jabbarov, The Minister of Education stressed that development of education sphere, the reforms implement on the direction of elimination of existing problems are positively accepted and supported by all sections of community. Minister pointed that, final indicators under all phases in the past century and primary results of implemented reforms allow us express such opinion.
 The Minister of Education also stated that, according to Order dated July 24, 2014 of President of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev “About development of structure of The Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan Republic” Establishment of regional educational bodies will have great importance in formation of relevant opportunities in the places for not only optimitzation of management structure of general education but also development of education phases. Ultimately, we will ensure increase of publicity and transperancy in educational management in the places owing to application of modern management, accountability and responsibility distribution principles. Structure reforms serves to raealization of the goals like major improvement of educatio quality’ indicators, creation of strong education environment, increase of teacher’ s professionalism, provision of the interests of students and teachers.
Touching upon creation of special work group regarding with execution of Order in The Ministry of Education, Minister underlined preparation of Action Plan. Pointing importance of action for future but not past, The Ministerof Education stated that, future challanges are directed on real development of education system, also gave relevant task and reccomendations.
Isues like the steps to be made for formation of regional bodies, future challanges, coordination pf action with other governmental bodies and other issues, have been discussed in detailed in the conference.
