Ongoing research by the Ministry of Education
Issues of cooperation in the field of education between Azerbaijan and Syria were discussed
Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, on the sidelines of the World Education Forum, met with Dr. Mohammed Turko, Minister of Education of the Syrian Arab Republic, and Marwan Al-Halabi, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of and prospects for the development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Syria in the field of education. They also spoke about expanding ties between higher education institutions, academic cooperation, well as the exchange of students and faculty.
The meeting also addressed issues arising from the Strategic Partnership Agreement on the Reconstruction of Educational Infrastructure in the Syrian Arab Republic, signed in February of this year by Emin Amrullayev, Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Dr. Mohammed Turko, Minister of Education of the Syrian Arab Republic, and Dr. Salim bin Mohammed al-Malik, Director-General of ISESCO.
