Emin Amrullayev meets with the OECD Director for Education and Skills
Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, on the sidelines of the World Education Forum, held a meeting with Andreas Schleicher, Director for Education and Skills at the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
During the meeting, the current state of affairs and future directions of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the OECD in the field of education were discussed. The parties exchanged views, particularly on opportunities for collaboration in student achievement assessment, improvement of education quality indicators, and the development of modern skills.
The meeting highlighted the role of international assessment mechanisms in shaping education policy and explored opportunities for collaboration in the areas of data-driven decision-making and the implementation of innovative approaches in education.
