The Minister of Science and Education meets with the Director General of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IB)
Within the framework of the World Education Forum held in London, United Kingdom, from 17 to 20 May 2026, a delegation led by the Minister of Science and Education, Emin Amrullaev, held a bilateral meeting with the Director General of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IB) Olli-Pekka Heinonen.
During the meeting, participants exchanged views on reforms related to curriculum and assessment in general education, and discussed innovative educational approaches and prospects for future cooperation.
The meeting participants also discussed competency-based approaches to curriculum development and student-centered learning models. In addition, they reviewed international best practices regarding modern methods of assessing and measuring student achievement.
