An education exhibition titled "Study in Azerbaijan" was launched in Kazakhstan
On April 6, the opening ceremony of the international exhibition of Azerbaijani higher education institutions, “Study in Azerbaijan,” took place at the “Farabi Hub” Innovation Center of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, located in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The exhibition aims to strengthen the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan in the fields of education and scientific research, as well as to inform students and young professionals about educational opportunities in Azerbaijan.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by Emin Amrullayev, Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Sayasat Nurbek, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan; rectors of leading universities; and education experts from both countries.
Nearly 25 leading Azerbaijani universities are participating in the exhibition, offering prospective students information on study programs, scientific research initiatives, academic mobility opportunities, dual-degree programs, grant support and admission requirements.
Speaking at the exhibition’s opening, Sayasat Nurbek, Kazakhstan’s Minister of Science and Higher Education, emphasized that this initiative is a logical continuation of bilateral cooperation. He noted that last year, more than 2,500 young Azerbaijanis participated in the “Study in Kazakhstan” exhibition held in Azerbaijan. During that exhibition, approximately 80 important academic agreements were reached. The current event is also the result of such fruitful cooperation.
Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, in his turn, emphasized the importance of integration in education. The minister noted that Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are countries with shared historical and cultural roots. Cooperation in the field of education further strengthens this spiritual bond. The minister added that such platforms help young people choose the right future profession and be competitive on an international level.
It should be noted that the exhibition will continue through April 7–8 at the “Farabi Hub” Innovation Center of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
