The VI International Forum on “New Challenges in Education” will be held
On 4 October, the VI International Forum on ‘New Challenges in Education’ will be held at Baku Slavic University.
The international forum will be held in a hybrid format with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education, the Education Development Fund, in partnership with the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Science and Education Workers, the Baku Slavic University and the “T-Network” platform for the exchange of experience and communication among education workers.
The main purpose of the forum is to discuss new challenges in education, raise awareness of issues related to quality education for all, character and willpower development, and the balance between emotional intelligence and artificial intelligence, in order to contribute to further quality improvement by considering the requirements of education in the new era.
The international forum dedicated to the ‘Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty’ will be held under the motto ‘A More Educated Future.’
The forum will feature presentations and experience sharing by: Andreas Schleicher, Director for Education and Skills at the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, Akar Baltash, Head of Baltash Group and renowned Turkish psychologist, Caroline Wright, Director General of the British Educational Suppliers Association, Roman Aliyev, Director of the Riga Classical State Gymnasium, Zuhal Baltash, founder of the Baltash Group and renowned Turkish psychologist, Lala Aliyeva, who received a master's degree in education policy and analysis from Harvard University as part of the State Program for Study Abroad, and Sanem Ali, head of the Estonian Academy of Vocational Education.
The forum will cover topics such as: “The balance between emotional and artificial intelligence, quality education for all, the age of speed: character and willpower development, emergency educational assistance: multifaceted literacy.”
The forum will discuss the following issues:
• How to balance emotional intelligence and artificial intelligence in education?
• How to make quality education accessible to all so that no student is left behind?
• How to increase attention to character building and willpower development in an era of rapid change?
• Which traditional approaches in this context should be replaced with new ones?
• What understanding of success should participants in the educational process focus on?
• What steps need to be taken to provide emergency educational assistance and promote multidimensional literacy?
• How can all parties involved in the educational process be engaged in the process of becoming the best version of themselves?
