The Minister of Science and Education meets with representatives of the “TikTok” company
On 19 November, the Minister of Science and Education, Emin Amrullayev, received a delegation from “TikTok” company.
The meeting was attended by TikTok Vice-President for Public Policy Helena Lerch, Director of the Public Policy and Corporate Relations Department for Eastern Europe Sergey Sokolov, and the company's advisor on government agencies Emin Akhundov.
During the meeting, they discussed establishing joint cooperation with “TikTok” company in the field of science and education, and exchanged views on educational initiatives and projects for the general public.
Proposals for new initiatives to enable teachers to promote their educational content were also discussed. In addition, examples of educational channels run by teachers in different countries were presented and the contribution of the platform's capabilities to improving educational content was discussed.
