Minister of Science and Education meets with representatives of “Microsoft” company
The Minister of Science and Education, Emin Amrullayev, has met with Microsoft officials who are on a visit to our country.
The meeting was attended by Mark East, General Manager of “Microsoft” company for Europe, Middle East, and Africa and Albena Spasova, Microsoft’s Education Lead for Central and Eastern Europe.
The participants of the meeting expressed their satisfaction with the high-level cooperation between the Ministry of Science and Education and Microsoft during and after the pandemic. In order to continue the cooperation more closely, the parties discussed the possibilities of using artificial intelligence and cloud computing technologies to manage different levels of education and stimulate research.
The representatives of “Microsoft” company said they would work more closely with the Ministry of Science and Education to expand joint activities.
As part of the visit, representatives of the company took part in “Digital skills classes, got acquainted with “Steam Center” activities, and held meetings with startuppers at the “SABAH.lab Acceleration Center”.
