The Minister of Science and Education holds a briefing for the media
The Minister of Science and Education held a briefing for the media on 23 August.
At the briefing, Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev made a broad presentation on the new decision to assign monthly increments to the salaries of some education employees. Speaking about the essence of assignment of additional payments to the salaries of the executives of general education institutions, Emin Amrullayev said that the decision covers about 865 principals, 2,343 deputy principals.
Speaking about the additions to the salaries of certified teachers, the Minister of Science and Education said that as an incentive measure in connection with the certification, a 10 percent addition will be added to the salaries of teachers who have scored a passing grade and a 35 percent addition will be added to the salaries of teachers who have scored over 50 points. According to the Minister, the certification serves to determine the professional level of currently employed teachers.
The Minister of Science and Education also informed about the recruitment process for teachers, State Program for education of young people at higher education institutions of foreign countries for 2022-2026 and the main activity directions of the Ministry of Science and Education.
At the end of the briefing, numerous questions from the media representatives were answered.
