148 people gained the right to study in Hungary
Within the framework of the Intergovernmental Scholarship Programs (NTP) the selections for the Hungarian education scholarship program for the academic year 2021-2022 have been completed. As a result of cooperation in the field of education between the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, 148 citizens of Azerbaijan got the right to study at the prestigious universities of Hungary in 2021-2022 academic year.
The Hungarian side has decided to continue scholarships in the academic year 2021-2022 to 87 Azerbaijanis from the existing quota, who have had their terms of study extended as a result of the global pandemic.
As a result of a final decision made by the Hungarian side on the selection, 17 people got the right to study at the PhD level (in any field of interest), 123 at the master's level and 8 at the bachelor's level under the aforesaid agreement. They will study economics, humanitarian and social sciences, business and management, engineering, Information Technologies (ITs), tourism, natural sciences and health sciences. The students who were awarded the scholarship got the right to study at such higher education institutions as “Budapest University of Technology and Economics”, “Corvinus University of Budapest”, “University of Szeged”, “Eötvös Loránd University”, “University of Debrecen”, “University of Pécs” and others.
It should be noted that the relevant scholarship program was announced on November 23, 2020.
