Deputy Minister speaks at 2021 Global Education Meeting of the UNESCO
Deputy Minister of Education Mukhtar Mammadov participated in the 2021 Global Education Meeting's Ministerial Segment hold by the UNESCO on 13 July.
UNESCO Director-General Odri Azulay, UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Education Stefania Giannini and educational leaders of a number of countries took part in the virtual event dedicated to the theme of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on education, response measures against the pandemic and activities carried out in the direction of Sustainable Development Goals.
Speaking at the event, Mukhtar Mammadov informed the participants about the steps taken to ensure the sustainability of education in the country during the pandemic, the work done in the field of education to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and the achievements in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
