Deputy Minister of Science and Education Hasan Hasanli attends the opening of the STEAM Center in Uzbekistan
Deputy Minister of Science and Education Hasan Hasanli took part in the opening ceremony of the newly established STEAM Center in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan, with the support of the Azerbaijani state.
Speaking at the opening of the STEAM Center created on the basis of Azerbaijan's experience at the National Institute of Pedagogical Mastery named after Abdullah Avloni, the deputy minister emphasized the importance of implementing joint projects and exchanging experience with Uzbekistan in this direction.
Minister of Preschool and General Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan Hilola Umarova also delivered a speech and highly appreciated Azerbaijan's experience in the field of STEAM, noting that expansion of cooperation in this direction and implementation of joint initiatives will be useful for the education systems of both countries.
It was noted that the existing facilities of the Center, which consist of a total of 9 laboratories, conference rooms and administrative offices, will play an important role in introducing modern capabilities and innovations in education. With the help of these facilities, it will be possible to develop creative thinking skills in preschool and elementary school students through project-based learning tools.
Within the framework of the visit, the deputy minister also visited the National Institute of Pedagogical Mastery named after Abdullah Avloni in Tashkent, where he familiarized himself with the expositions and the memorial museum, and visited the library and training laboratories of the Institute.
