KOICA holds a ceremony to present tablets to schools
On March 29, a handover ceremony was held to present tablets to schools as part of the grant project "Capacity Building of Teachers and Establishment of the Education Information System for the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan".
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Education Mukhtar Mammadov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Azerbaijan Lee Eun Yong and Country Director of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Moon Jong Hyun.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Mukhtar Mammadov emphasized the dynamic development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Korea in the field of education, noting that Baku Engineering University and Korea's INHA University have implemented a dual degree program in engineering at the undergraduate level. The Deputy Minister highly appreciated the contribution of the Korean International Cooperation Agency to the development of cooperation between the two countries in the field of education.
Following that, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Lee Eun Yong stated that the Republic of Korea is interested in further expanding its educational cooperation with Azerbaijan.
A handover act for the presentation of 875 tablets to be distributed to general education institutions across the country as part of the grant project "Capacity Building of Teachers and Establishment of the Education Information System for the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan" was signed at the conclusion of the event.
