The graduates of the sports schools of the Ministry of Education achieved great success in the judo competitions in the 13th European Youth Olympic Festival "Tbilisi 2015" held in Georgia.
The competitions, organized in different kinds of sports, were attended by about 2500 young athletes from 50 countries. Shafaq Hamidova, graduate of Sumgait city Children's and Youth Sports School no. 2, became the winner among girls in 40 kg weight category. In the final, she defeated the Russian athlete and won the gold medal.
Ibrahim Bayramli, graduate of the Specialized Children-Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserves No. 13, won the 3rd place and the bronze medal among boys in 50 kg weight category.
