• Azərbaycan Xalq Cümhuriyyəti hökumətinin 1918-ci il 28 may tarixli qərarı ilə maarif və təhsil üzrə ilk nazirlik-Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyi yaradılıb. Nazirlər Şurasının 30 iyun 1918-ci il tarixli qərarı ilə Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyinin üç şöbədən (ümumi orta təhsil, ali və orta ixtisas təhsili, peşə məktəbləri) ibarət strukturu təsdiq olunub.

    Azərbaycan SSR Xalq Komissarları Sovetinin 28 aprel 1920-ci il tarixli qərarı ilə Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyinin adı dəyişdirilərək Xalq Maarifi Komissarlığı adı ilə yenidən təşkil edilib və ölkədəki bütün təhsil müəssisələri bu qurumun tabeliyinə verilib.

Education is the future of the nation!

Commemoration dedicated to the memory of Heydar Aliyev, national leader of Azerbaijan nation, has been held by organization of The Ministry of Education on december 11.

Making a speech in the event, Mikayil Jabbarov, minister of education stated that, dear memory of Heydar Aliyev, national leader of Azerbaijan nation is remembered in this year as every year. Talking about peerless services of Heydar Aliyev, significance of political heritage, minister touched upon tireless activity of great leader on the sphere of social- economical development of our country, state building and protection of public-political stability during all his power in Azerbaijan. 
Mentioning important role of education in the community’s development, Mikayil Jabbarov, minister of eduation talked about great attention and care made by national leader to this sphere. Minister stressed successful implementation of great leader Heydar Aliyev’s ideas by Mr. Ilham Aliyev, President of our country today.
Making a speech in the event, Siyavush Karimi, rector of Azerbaijan National Conservatory mentioned the services of great leader Heydar Aliyev in the establishment of education institution guided by him.
    Then, folk artists Mansum Ibrahimov, Azar Zeynalov, Samir Hafarov and other famous fine arts masters performed most loved songs of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Guidance, structural section leaders and collaborators of The Ministry of Education took part in the commemoration. Also, leaders of higher education institutions, representatives of educational community, famous intellectuals and fine arts figures took part in the event.
