Regional conference on the topic “Turin process- 2014” within framework of “Eastern Partnership Platform 4”, has been held in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Conference has been organized by The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, European Commission and European Education Fund. Representatives of 6 countries included in “Eastern Partnership Platform 4” in the event.
Azerbaijan was represented by the officials of The Ministry of Education, Labor and People’s Social Protection, Economy and Industry, State Statistic Committee, State Employment Service, embassy of Azerbaijan to Georgia in the conference.
Nigar Ismayilzade, specialist of primary vocational and secondary education department of The Ministry of Education, presented her report of Turin process about Azerbaijan on 2014. Actions taken during 2 years on the direction of vocational education and training system in Azerbaijan, have been talked in the report, the piorities of target objectives have been announced. It was stated that, reprsentatives of different state bodies closely took part in the Turin process on 2014. Employers, NGOs and experts have been involved in the discussions regarding with this matter.
It should be pointed that, our country makes a speech with the second report on Turin process. Discussions at national level has been made through participation of interested parties in Azerbaijan on Turin process implemented by coordination of Seymur Ismayilov, advisor of minister of Education.
Statistic indicators on 7 indicators, have been presented in the second half of conference dedicated on the topic “measurement and development of company’s effectiveness through comparing existing “the best indicator- benchmarking on 2020 targets: European Union”.
Countries’ achievements on the development directions assigned by European Union till 2020, have been comparatively pointed and indicators on involvement of population in educaton, education levels, employment, literacy have been discussed. Azerbaijan annonunced obtaining of result closer to indicator on mentioned indicators in the report and besides, compilation of relevant state programs on the priorities assigned on other directions, has been pointed.
