The first stage of interschools subject contest on natural sciences held by the initiative of The Ministry of Education ended.
252 pupils from 28 school on Baku and Sumgait cities took part in the contests orgaznied by purpose to increase pupils’ interest to the subjects of physics, chemistry and biology, detect talented puils, demonstrate pupils’ knowledge and skills and create positive competition among the pupils. Each school were represented by the team that consist of totaly 9 pupils including 3 pupils from every VII, VIII and IX grades.
According to the results of I stage of physics, chemistry and biology subject contests, 5 schools demonstrated the highest result on team score. They are “Zəkalar” lyceum no. 287, Natural sciences gymnasium of Sumgait city, Humanitarian and natural-mathematics “İstedad” lyceum of Sumgait city, school-lyceum no. 220 of Baku city and Ecology lyceum no. 291 of Baku city.
According to the individual results of this stage, Turan Bayramli, pupil of Ecology lyceum no. 291 of Baku city on VII grades and Elshan Nagizade, pupil of the same lyceum on VIII grades, Nigar Eyvazzade, pupil of school-lyceum no. 261 on IX grades demonstrated the highest result.
The 2 nd stage of the contests is expected to conduct on november 29. Another stage (3 rd) of the contests will be conducted till the end of year. According to general results of this stage, the pupils differed in both of individual and team score, will be awarded to the valuable prizes.
