Azerbaijan chess-players successfully returned from 14 th European championship on blitz chess held from november 12 to 17 in Tallinn, Estonia.
The contest jointly held by European Chess Union and Estonia Chess Federation, has been held among 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18-years old boys and girls. Nearly 300 chess-players from 13 countries, took part in the championship. Azerbaijan chess-players won 4 gold, 4 silver and 1 bronze medal.
The pupils of Republic Specialized Olympic Reserves Child-Youth Chess School of The Ministry of Education on rapid chess, Aytan Amrayeva kept 1st place among 18-years old girls, Aydin Suleymanli 1 st place among 10–years old boys, Khanum Balajayeva kept 2 nd place among 8-years old girls. Umid Aslanov, the representative of Republic Specialized Olympic Reserves Child-Youth Chess School of The Ministry of Education no. 1.
Our chess-players performed successful game in super final. Aydin Suleymnli and Khanum Balajayeva defeated their rivals and kept 2 nd place. These chess-players won the game on blitz chess and kept 2 nd place.
